| History of Women’s Golf Northern Rivers: 1932 – 2012 It was at an inaugural meeting in Lismore on 14th September, 1932 convened by Mrs Leonore Wray, a Vice President of New South Wales Ladies Golf Union, and attended by representatives from seven clubs, that the Northern Rivers Associates Golf association was born. The 7th Country Association to be formed in NSW comprised Ballina, Casino, Coraki, Grafton, Kyogle, Lismore and Murwillumbah. |
